IRAN WARNS RUSSIA AGAINST SANCTIONS At a news conference in Istanbul, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad warns Russia against siding with Western allies in favor of imposing sanctions against the Islamic Republic. “There is no big problem, but they must be careful not to be on the side of the enemies of the Iranian people,” Ahmadinejad tells reporters. (Reuters)

ISRAELI MILITARY INVESTIGATES FLOTILLA RAID The Israeli military announces the creation of an internal team delegated to investigate last week’s deadly raid on a flotilla carrying aid materials to Gaza. The team is expected to present its findings by July 4. (AP)

TWO NATO SOLDIERS KILLED IN AFGHANISTAN One day after NATO Forces lost ten soldiers in a series of attacks in Afghanistan, two more soldiers die in an improvised bomb attack in southern Afghanistan. So far, 247 foreign troops have lost their lives in Afghanistan this year. (AFP)

PHOTOS OF KIM JONG-IL’S RECLUSIVE SON, HEIR, REVEALED
Photos of Kim Jong-Il’s third son, Kim Jong-un, are released by South Korea’s Yonhap news agency. The photos portray the man as a teenager attending school in Switzerland. Until now, the only other photos of the man widely believed to be heir to his father’s dictatorship were low-quality snapshots of him as an 11-year old boy. (Telegraph)

TWIN ATTACKED BY FOX TRANSFERRED TO SPECIALIST HOSPITAL One of the baby twins attacked by a fox has been transferred to a specialist children’s hospital for further treatment. Both nine-month old girls were attacked Saturday evening when a fox entered their family’s east London home. (AFP)
